How are we all? I haven't been on here recently for many reasons, but the main one being that I just haven't had an interest, and that's okay. As it was my birthday only recently, it's become more apparent to me about how much things can change in your life, whether it be plans, family or career plans... “‎Though nobody can go back and make a new beginning... Anyone can start over and make a new ending .” Chico Xavier Hindsight is always a great thing, but if we hadn't made the mistakes / choices that we did, then we might not be in the position that we are now. One of the main things that I am thankful for and always will be, is my family being supportive as they are. They have shaped my personality and made me who I am today, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Yeah, we've had our ups and downs but shit happens, right? “The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can chang...

Time for a change?

Happy New Year! I have to say now that looking back on 2015, it was quite a year for me. From finishing school in June, to turning 18, then getting my first job! The year honestly flew by without noticing it. Turns out, the first year of "adult life" has been a challenge on occasions but overall, I think I'm going to get the hang of it. But as it has changed into 2016, I think now is the best time to think about change. Whether these changes be in my lifestyle, habits or in employment or job/education who knows... But more focus is needed. Now I know that throughout some stage in our lives, we have all been through that "I'm going to get super fit and healthy because it's a new year" however, we all know how long that lasts! As it's a new year, I think I might actually try to stick to the changes that I plan on making (I'll hold myself to this!) Firstly, I think that one of the most important changes that is needing done is for...

Prom, Lord of The Dance and new specs!

Image
Hello everyone,  How are we all? I do have to apologise for not having a post uploaded in a while but I do have my reasons aha! From my Prom which signified the celebration of the end of my school career to having the amazing opportunity to see Michael Flatley's Lord Of The Dance at the Playhouse in Edinburgh and of course my new specs! Prom, where do I start?! Well, our venue for this was at the Murryfield International Stadium in Edinburgh (home of Scottish rugby!) and I have to say it was definitely an amazing atmosphere! I couldn't have asked for a better night (apart from some air-conditioning which woulda be great!) but being able to spend time with my friends before we all go our separate ways, whether it be to Uni or in my case Germany! I have to admit that when it came to choosing a dress, I was driving both myself and my mum round the bend with my indecisiveness, which I have to admit is a regular occurrence... To begin with I wanted a floor length dress...

Here's something new!

Evening all,     How are you doing this fine evening?  Big apologies for not posting much on here, it has been very stressful since we last spoke! Family members being in hospital so the blog had to take a back seat. But I thought that I should probably give you an update as to what is going on in my life at the moment! First of all, I have finished school for ever! EEEK! I have to say that my last day was quite emotional, saying goodbye to the teachers I have seen everyday for six years turns out to be a real tear jerker! But I think that it was also the realisation that I'm not going to be in the safety of the school and that I'm being thrown out into the big bad world - UH OH! However, there is an upside to going out into the big bad world. I have recently applied to become an Au-Pair (like a nanny) working in Germany! This has been a very big decision for me to make as I'd be leaving all my family and friends at home (but only for a year and...
