Black + Pink with Bubble Tea!

Image
What a beautiful day my friend Kathleen and I had in Edinburgh last week. The sun was shining (even though it was very windy!) we took a walk up Calton Hill just for a change. I have to say you forget what a beautiful city Edinburgh is until your standing at one of the highest points overlooking everything. This was also the day that we decided to go to Tempo Tea Bar (Market Street, Edinburgh) and try our first ever Bubble Tea. And what an experience that was! Kathleen had a fruit tea, whereas I tried a Melon Mix milk tea (and they do soya milk which is bloody brilliant for people like me!!) I highly recommend that place and I shall be going back! I didn't really put much thought into this outfit however I received constant compliments on how well coordinated I looked... In all honesty, I looked like a stereotypical "hipster" but I was okay with that for once! I have always wanted to own a pair of dungarees and I purchased these last year from New Lo...

Older and wiser?

How are we all? I haven't been on here recently for many reasons, but the main one being that I just haven't had an interest, and that's okay. As it was my birthday only recently, it's become more apparent to me about how much things can change in your life, whether it be plans, family or career plans... “‎Though nobody can go back and make a new beginning... Anyone can start over and make a new ending .” Chico Xavier Hindsight is always a great thing, but if we hadn't made the mistakes / choices that we did, then we might not be in the position that we are now. One of the main things that I am thankful for and always will be, is my family being supportive as they are. They have shaped my personality and made me who I am today, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Yeah, we've had our ups and downs but shit happens, right? “The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can chang...

Going Vegan?

Image
When it comes to living the Vegan lifestyle, I have to say I have never really thought about following their prospects... However, if vegan pampering sessions are available? Why not. I recently came across a brand when I was looking to try a different type of body care. That's when I came across 'Inecto Naturals'. Inecto Naturals is a British beauty brand based on fun and feel good products. They have a wide range of products from shampoo to hand and nail cream. They take pride in their products because each product is completely vegetarian and vegan friendly with 100% naturally sourced oils. The best thing is that this brand does not test on animals, as they 'always keep people, animals and the planet in mind'. Me being me, when I saw that there was various different products, I just had to buy them all to try them out... the even better thing was that they were rather inexpensive which is always a good thing. What also drew my attention was the simple yet ey...

Monthly Favourites - April

Image
Favourites - we all have them, and they come in various different categories. Therefore, me being the brightspark that I am (I heard that laugh!) decided that it might be a good idea to write now again about my current favourite things. By doing this, it could help with gift ideas, or even your next purchase if you wanted! For the month of April there has been various different things that I have really been liking. I have to say that my number one is most definitely plastic glasses. Yes, I know you're probably thinking that I have completely lost my marbles. But I haven't. I'm not talking about the cheap, flimsy ones... I think if I called them "Tumblr cups" then you might have an idea? These come in hundreds of different patterns and sizes do vary, depending on what shop you buy from. As of today, I now own five of these amazing cups, costing only £3 each, and more or less unbreakable... bargain!     You will never guess what my next favourite thing is! O...

ASOS Top picks

Image
When it comes to online shopping, as you all already probably know, I'm practically addicted to it. Whether it be a small buy of one or two things or splurging out on far too many pieces, I'm hooked. However, I don't always go out and buy absolutely everything that I want, and that's the reason why my 'Wishlist' now has over 150 items in it... Oops. Then I had a thought, if I narrowed down the ridiculous amount of items, then I would be able to see which ones I really wanted and which could be chucked out. After all that, I have my top picks...       Firstly, coats...  I really don't know why but I have slowly became slightly obsessed with coats/jackets... ASOS have a wide variety, currently I'm really liking the trench coats or any midi length ones.       Lace and Chiffon are everywhere nowadays, and I really think that they look timeless. No matter what the occasion, whether it be an interview or a summery picnic, you will always have so...
