Holly Blue Nails and Beauty!

Okay, so incase you haven't seen me raving about my new nails then prepare yourself now, because here it comes!

Two weeks ago, I attended an event hosted at Holly Blue Nails and Beauty Salon based at 5 Church Hill Place, Morningside, Edinburgh. " At Holly Blue Nail & Beauty Salon, we offer the best treatments & use only the highest quality products including CND, HD Brows, Lycon Wax, LVL Lashes, XEN-Tan.Conveniently located in Morningside and now Corstorphine, Holly Blue Nail & Beauty Salon is Edinburgh's top destination for everything Nails, Make Up & Beauty related. Specialising in CND Nail Treatments & HD Brows we offer only premium products and services to our clients.A full range of CND Vinylux Polishes, Scentsation Hand Lotions, HD Brows, Make Up By HD Brows and XEN-Tan products are available to purchase in the salon. "

The event was from 6;30pm till around 8pm, and involved members of their amazing staff doing treatment demonstrations, answering and explaining their wide range of products and treatments, and most importantly making sure that everyone had a great evening. I went with my friend Kathleen since it was the first proper bloggers event that I had ever attended, plus how could I possibly say no to something which involved loads of makeup and especially NAILS!

Throughout the night, I was able to talk to several of their staff and take photos of their beautifully decorated salon including their wide range of products. However, my phone being the lovely thing it is, decided to delete them all so I have had to take pictures from elsewhere, yay!

Anyways, enough rambling about stupid technology. Once I had looked at their price lists and their list of special offers that were just for that night, I knew that I wouldn't be able to hold myself back from purchasing a cheeky little treatment or two, or three... Oops. The offers that I bought were firstly an Eyebrow wax, which was cheap and painless only costing £9.50. The other two treatments I splashed out on were a CND Brisa Gel Liquid and Powder Full Set, and because I bought this at full price, this meant that I was able to purchase a CND Shellac Pedicure at half price, sitting at just £13! How could I resist?! That's right, I couldn't. When I had purchased the treatments, I received a goodie bag which was worth £50! This goodie bag included high quality fake tans, nail polish, makeup mirror and a Kabuki makeup brush! Absolutely amazing if you ask me...

Now for my treatments, I had my Shellac pedicure done my Demi (3rd from the left) and my eyebrows and Gel nails were done by Lauren (3rd from the right). I can't thank the girls enough because my nails are absolutely gorgeous! For my pedicure, I went for a mermaid inspired glitter finish which somewhat resembled scales... so pretty! And as my CND Brisa Gel nails, I went for a baby blue with a black and silver glitter design on the tips. As the majority of you will already know, I love my long nails, however it had got to the point where I only had three long nails out of the full set, so this treatment was perfect for me as it made them all the same length! Here is a picture of just how nice and how much of an amazing job Lauren did.

I would fully recommend going onto either their website, Facebook page or Instagram and seeing their amazing work, and hopefully booking something for yourself!

Catch you later,
