How are you doing this fine evening? 


Big apologies for not posting much on here, it has been very stressful since we last spoke! Family members being in hospital so the blog had to take a back seat. But I thought that I should probably give you an update as to what is going on in my life at the moment!


First of all, I have finished school for ever! EEEK! I have to say that my last day was quite emotional, saying goodbye to the teachers I have seen everyday for six years turns out to be a real tear jerker! But I think that it was also the realisation that I'm not going to be in the safety of the school and that I'm being thrown out into the big bad world - UH OH!


However, there is an upside to going out into the big bad world. I have recently applied to become an Au-Pair (like a nanny) working in Germany! This has been a very big decision for me to make as I'd be leaving all my family and friends at home (but only for a year and not forever, thankfully!) I think the reason I chose to apply is that I think that doing something like this now would give me an insight about what it's like to live in other countries and to experience other cultures!

So, if it all goes the way I'm hoping for, then I should be flying out to North West Germany in September - AAHH! At the moment I am really quite excited about going but also feeling quite nervous but I'm sure that I'll be able to cope...

But anyways, I should really have been doing revision at the moment but hey, I'll pay for that later!

My current favourites + wishlist wants!

As we all know, I'm admittedly addicted to all things fashion and makeup related, so in light of that... I thought that I'd keep you updated with what I'm currently liking or wishing I had (not that I need any more things though!) Now I'm never off websites like ASOS, New Look, Boohoo etc... and with all that time spent, I've created a fair few wish lists of items I would love (but can't afford or justify) to add to my collection. Jumpsuits are my new favourite thing... what's easier than being able to throw on one of these and look as if you've spent ages on deciding what to wear!? There's one thing which I have to say I am rather intrigued with, and that's culottes. I never used to see the point in wearing trousers that simply looked too short, but now I'm a fan!? Major turn around right here that's for sure. I think because there is so many different types and styles that I'm willing to give them a go... Anot

Older and wiser?

How are we all? I haven't been on here recently for many reasons, but the main one being that I just haven't had an interest, and that's okay. As it was my birthday only recently, it's become more apparent to me about how much things can change in your life, whether it be plans, family or career plans... “‎Though nobody can go back and make a new beginning...
